Palmižana
The oldest and most famous Hvar's resort and the nautical area ( ACI Palmižana).
Palmižana (Vinogradišće lagoon precisely) is a spacious lagoon with shallow and sandy beach. It is surround by the thick, pine forest, fragrant heather and rosemary bushes and various, exotic plants. On Palmižana are several restaurants. The supermarket and the exchange office are situated in the near of the nautical marina. A regular boat connection is from the port of Hvar.
Connection; How to reach to Hvar
During the summer months you can reach the nautical marina Palmižana with the taxi-boats from the port of Hvar. From the city Hvar and Stari Grad on the Island Hvar the ferries are running several times a day to Split (airport and the ferry connection with Italian cities Ancona, Bari and Pescara).
Stari Grad has a ferry line connection to Rijeka and Dubrovnik. You can reach Hvar, Vis and Split every day with the speed boats. The ferry from Ancona to Starigrad is only in the summer season reachable.
