At the foot of hills where the parish church of St. Anton Opat can be found is located the village Vrisnik, 3 km from Jelsa. The view from the church square provides an impressive panoramic look on the nearby village of Svirče, surrounding places and on the carefully maintained vineyards and olive trees. The old stone houses, with their supporting walls made of dry-stone and picturesque courtyards and gardens, will take you back to a long gone time, but you will certainly be able to relax along with the aromas of the untouched nature which surrounds this little village.
